STAGE MANAGEMENT
As a professional stage manager, I led the coordination and execution of theatrical productions from pre-production through closing. I served as the central communication hub for the creative team, cast, and crew, facilitating rehearsals, maintaining detailed schedules and reports, calling performances, and ensuring union compliance.
In addition to my principle assignments, I regularly worked as a swing and substitute stage manager across multiple productions. I was often called in with as little as an hour’s notice to cover unexpected absences, stepping seamlessly into new shows or roles mid-run. These high-pressure moments required quick adaptability, deep knowledge of multiple productions, and the ability to immediately gain trust and maintain calm in fast-moving environments. Whether leading long-running shows or jumping in as emergency coverage, I brought a steady, collaborative presence that helped teams stay focused, supported, and performance-ready.
COMPANY & GENERAL MANAGEMENT
As a Company Manager and Associate General Manager for Off-Broadway and touring productions, I managed the daily business operations and logistics for theatrical companies, supporting cast, crew, and creative teams both in New York and on the road. My work spanned contract administration, payroll, travel, housing, per diem, and day-to-day problem-solving, with a consistent focus on artist support and operational efficiency.
I collaborated closely with multiple unions, including AEA, IATSE, AFM, SDC, USA, and ATPAM ensuring compliance across departments and navigating the unique requirements of each agreement. In addition, I served as a COVID Compliance Officer on select productions, implementing health and safety protocols, managing testing schedules, and keeping up with evolving regulations. Touring added another layer of complexity, requiring me to coordinate across cities, venues, and local labor teams while adapting quickly to shifting logistics. Whether managing crisis response or daily routines, I combined precision, empathy, and strong communication to keep productions running smoothly and teams well-supported.

Most formal training I have heard about (and classes that I took) default to the non-profit model, and the commercial side rarely gets the same structural clarity. That gap has real consequences: it creates confusion for people at every level, including those whose day-to-day work is directly shaped by management decisions they don't fully see.
